Hi bob sorry for delay in replying ive been on leave and havent had time to visit the site but i remember helena-c and saw the pic i think it was one of the dockers who made the drawing i cant remember his name but he did me a drawing of the adelphia which was very good and i still have it today !! i was mate of her with peter shelly in those days and boy were they good wells was my second home !!! had somw awsomw runs ashore there bloody shame it all ended.i eventually became skipper on the adelphia when she was called Delphi and had her for a few years before joining Priors barges and doing 11 years as skipper there.we had the best of the coasting days i think.

malc 1980/84 iused to run into wells a lot I had the Helena/c at the time was on charter to schouten we hit the quay at Ijmuiden knocking a hole in the stbd bow inever lived it down got some slagging in wells some drew a picture off her with a patch on her bow can't remember now who it was but it hung on the wallin the fleece for long enough alby was running in there at that time on subro Viking others were nautic/w,adelphi,capt voss boekener, etc those were the good old days of coasting rgds skiboo bob angus
