Hi derek Dont know why she showed no results as her name really was Queenford I know as i have had the pleasure of painting it in several times !! I was on her possibly when that photo was taken !! as deckhand and then as mate for over 3 years and untill about 1 month before she was sunk in that collision in dense for off ijmuden bound for Gt yarmouth with soya Kenny marsh was skipper at the time Andy dale was deckhand and i cant remember the mates name.still they all got off safely thanks to captain fred Vos on the Bukaneer who followed the trail of soyabean meal in the fog till he found her.I dont know why she came up as queensford as ive heard this several times but i think it was because she was originally called Queensgate that people called her Queensford but i can assure everyone that her official name was Queenford.

Best regards malc
