Good evening John,
please excuse the delay answering to your message, but just discovered it by chance. As it wasn`t written on my profile page, didn`t get a notice.
I "googled" a bit and discovered that on Ships Nostalgia former sailors of Turnbull, Scott are looking for shipmates, but guess you`ll a lot more than I do how to find information about your company and the crews who sailed on their ships
As the company owned coasters too, I created a section in "Coastal Shipping Companies", hoping that pictures, details, histories and stories will be posted by other members. Am sure that Rick, Paul, Pete and the other lads got something in their "fleets"

Hi Dierk, Thank you for your message. I served with Turnbull Scott Shipping Co., from September 1961 to December 1983 - Engineer Cadet to Chief Engineer. I passed my combined Chief's certificate in 1973. I have served with other companies as Chief Engineer/Superintendent. At present I am writing the history of ships owned and managed by Turnbull Scott. Best Regards from Bridlington, U.K. John
